Hello, friends!
I am so beyond excited to share with you this fun Summer Party I hosted for Paper Eskimo. This is an adorable theme for any summer birthday party or even an End of Summer Bash for the kids. Just to make sure you are near a pool so the kids can cool off!
Paper Eskimo classic party products were perfect for this theme. I enjoyed using their popular pastel striped line and interchangeable melamine cake stands. If you love Paper Eskimo as much as we do, shop your favorite products and enjoy 10% off using code Donut18 with a minimum purchase of $50. Valid until August 31st. When I picked a Donut theme I thought it would be fun to do add a fresh twist so it wouldn’t be just another donut party on Pinterest. I purchased a Giant Donut Pool float and a set of Donut Drink Floaties for our family a few months ago and BAM the idea of throwing a summer donut bash immediately came to mind. Then, I was browsing on Instagram when I stumbled upon the most adorable illustration by Fine Apple Pair, so I contacted the sweet ladies behind it to see if they would be interested in tweaking their design to match the idea of a little girl resembling my daughter in a bathing suit sporting a pink donut float and of course, incorporating the colors from Paper Eskimo products. They nailed it! Their invitation design was the icing on the cake and exactly what I had in mind!
This giant donut pool float was the inspiration for the party!
Create an eye-catching donut display
I have been meaning to design a Donut Wall for a long time. This was the perfect opportunity! I already had a pegboard sitting in my garage, which was leftover from the one I put together for my Craft Station. It was the perfect size!
Setting up a Donut Wall is actually very simple and I am sharing the step-by-step here on the blog in a separate post in case you would like to give it a try!
For our Donut Station, we used our skinny table to display cake, cupcakes and milk bottles. To add more flair, I hung a tissue tassel and donut garlands across the front of the table. Balloons in coordinating colors scattered on the floor for a festive touch.

Serve donut themed party sweets
A donut themed party deserves a Donut Cake and other treats to match!
Get the kids excited and spruce up milk bottles with colorful straws and decorated donut cookies!
Set up a festive kids tablescape
In addition to the Donut Wall Station, you can opt to set up a separate kids table as well. Layering classic striped plates with donut themed paper products will add fun texture to your tablescape.
If you are hosting a pool party, set up a drink station complete with donut drink floaties the kids can take to the pool.
Send you special guests home with something sweet and edible
Top simple cupcakes with mini iced donuts that are easy and inexpensive to make! I use a cake mix and bake them in my donut machine.
