Hello, friends! I am so excited to share sweet ideas on How to host a Kids Fingerprint Art Play date play in which the kids can have fun making a hand drawn print extra special by creating their own fingerprint art piece. How fun is that?
Each rubyrose piece is hand drawn by Molly’s husband and carefully detailed in graphite pencil. I am blown away by his talent, by the way. When Molly and I were discussing about the designs I would like my kids to work on, my little girl settled for their beautiful unicorn. I also asked Molly if she had plans on adding a Llama design to their collection. She said they were already working on it, which turned out pretty incredible as you can see below in all it’s glory after my son had fun making it extra special.

Make it fun for the kids and create sweet family memories by turning this art activity into a sweet play date. They can create a one-of-a-kind, fingerprint art while enjoying some sweet treats as well.
Choosing a print design
Depending on the occasion, you can choose the design of your choice among their beautiful collection. Each handmade print comes with everything you need to create your own art work. The possibilities are endless. Whether it’s a baby shower, birthday or baptism, the kids (or adults) can create a truly special keepsake. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are coming up. Wouldn’t they make the perfect gifts for the occasion?

Time to add those cute fingerprints
Set out an art station for the kids to work on their pieces. If your child is very little, you can help him/her getting those tiny fingerprints on.

In addition to the prints, the kids can also create their own fingerprint gift tags. My kids are gifting Nana & Papa whose 50th anniversary is next month. They will be so excited to have their grandchildren’s fingerprint arts to cherish in the years to come.

Putting the Fingerprint Art gifts together
Attach the gift tag to the print using baker’s twine. You can also place the print in a frame. Place the artwork back in the box and you are all set to gift a loved one!

My 4-year-old wanted to create a heart shaped balloon, as much as this OCD mom was trying to help her, she kept saying “I’ve got his, mommy! I don’t need any help.” Too cute! I dated the back of their prints to remind us how little they were.

No kids play date is complete without sweet treats
After the kids are finished with their beautiful fingerprint art work, they can enjoy yummy donuts and milk. You can’t go wrong with this combo. It’s easy and always a hit among the kids.
Finding the perfect frame for the kids fingerprint arts
You can purchase the frame of your choice to match your event, kids bedroom, kids play room or nursery.
