A Taco Themed Valentine's Day Party with a Festive Fiesta Flair...

I have fillings for you…I am excited to share our Valentine’s Day party for this year – A Taco themed with a fiesta flair Valentine’s Day Party!

The inspiration for this adorable theme was a Valentine’s Day card design I ordered from Minted. As usual, I kept it simple for an easy yet effortless celebration at home for the kids.

The Valentine’s Day ‘I have feelings for you’ card and fringe cup were the biggest inspirations for the decorated cookies and overall party decor/color palette. I was looking for a unique color combo. As you can see no red at sight!

I mixed heart shaped plates in different coordinating colors and sizes for a super festive Valentine’s day tablescape.

The super adorable taco balloons were the focal point of our party set up. I also incorporated heart balloons to bring the Valentine’s Day theme to life. The fringe garland, also inspired by the fringe cup, added such a festive fiesta touch to our backdrop!

The kids had fun decorating cupcakes (and eating them). They created mini edible taco cupcake toppers after the samples I created for the party.

MINI TACO CUPCAKE TOPPERS

Sandwich cookies cut in half (remove filling)
Chocolate frosting (meat)
Coconut flakes (lettuce) *Place coconut flakes and green food coloring in a mini ziploc bag. Shake well.
Mini heart sprinkles (tomatoes)
Yellow jimmies (shredded cheese)
White decorating icing or melted cookie filling from the sandwich cookies
