DIY BACKDROP IDEA

For my backdrop, I was looking for something easy yet eye-catching so I had the idea to create decorations using large paper shark platters, balloons and twine. I simply secured the plates using a strong tape. Note: Make sure you dust your walls before attaching the plates. Inflate the balloons using a pump. No need for helium!

For my tablescape, I layered fun striped plates in two different sizes. Finished each place setting with coordinating items, such as silver cups, acrylic shark drink sticks, napkins, wooden utensils and tissue confetti! Let’s not forget the super adorable shark cookies!

The good thing about kids parties is the fact you don’t need much to keep them happy. Include a simple yet pretty buttercream cake and if this is a birthday celebration, decorate it with fun large candles! An easy and inexpensive way to add a fun touch to a simple cake. I love this buttercream ombre design. It’s perfect for this theme!
