Hello, friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
It’s a gorgeous day here in the city of trees – 45 degrees, nice breeze, blue skies. Pinch me! We absolutely love this type of weather. It’s feel like our winter back in Florida.
Anyway, the landscape people mowed our lawn for the first time after our long winter. I am pretty sure they are happy Spring is here and they can have their job back! Yay!
My husband and I wanted to take full advantage of this beautiful day. We decided to do some gardening, to fertilize our lawn and of course, to kill some weeds! It really was the perfect day to do that.
I figured we would need something to drink. We all love iced tea, so I whipped up some yummy iced green tea for us!
If you like light and refreshing iced tea, you will love this recipe!
Ice Green Tea Recipe
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
4 green tea bags
4 cups of water
honey, sugar or sweetener
lemon (optional)
Directions:
Heat 2 cups of water until very hot. Pour hot water over tea bags. Steep for about 4-5 minutes. Add honey, sugar or sweetener to taste while water still hot. Add 2 cups of cold water and place the tea in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve, add ice and lemon wedges to it. Use lemon slices to garnish individual glasses (optional). Enjoy!
Forgive my little boy’s nails. He did some gardening with us and he clearly needs to have his nails trimmed (laughs!)
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
Happy Sunday, friends!
xoxo
