Hi, friends!
I am so excited to start sharing our Annual Gingerbread Shoots this week! This project is very dear to my heart and every year I get beyond excited about planning and executing it. Today, I am sharing our 1st Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party shoot, which was featured on Hostess with the Mostess in 2013. Time flies!
If you love Gingerbread Parties as much as I do, I hope you love the ideas on how to set up your own Decorating Station, Hot Cocoa Bar and a very festive dessert station!
I never get tired of saying how important it is to send out Invitations. Choose a design that will absolutely set the tone for the type of event you have in mind! Get your guests excited about it!
Find this invitation design here.
If you are planning on setting up a complete Dessert Station for your guests, don’t be afraid of using your own pieces of furniture. Make it fun by adding festive party decor to match and coordinating goodies, such as gingerbread man cookies, gingerbread houses, holiday cake pops, etc.
Having a Hot Cocoa Bar available is always hit! Decorate mugs with gingerbread houses and make hot cocoa kits available, festive chocolate spoons and of course, water or milk.
The best part of a Gingerbread Party is the Decorating Station. They kids get so excited! If the kids are little, make sure the houses are already built (I learned my lesson pretty quickly). We put decorating kits together by filling up gable boxes with bags of candies and a small bag of icing. If you would like to go the extra mile, aprons and hats add a very special touch! Not mention the super adorable pictures you can take!
I hope you enjoyed these fun ideas! Ready to recreate your own?
