I love music and can’t get through my busy days without listening to my favorite tunes! Listening to music gives me the motivation to finish up my business related projects and run my daily errands. I am listening to music as I write this fun post for you! (wink, wink)
While shopping at my local Albertsons, I spotted the new Coca-Cola ™ bottles featuring song lyrics!! How fun is that? Now imagine a very excited young lady checking all the bottles available and trying to figure out every single song?! So fun! I had to pick some of my favorites!
My playlists range from Alternative to Pop, from Ballads to MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira) Have I mentioned I was born and raised in Brazil? When I listen to MPB, it evokes so much emotion and I can’t help it but shed a tear because I miss my family in Brazil so much!
MPB reminds of my dear niece. She just recently graduated from Med School and music played a huge role in helping her get through her long nights studying for hard exams. I am so proud of her!
I can always find my niece with earphones on listening to her favorite songs and writing her thoughts on a piece of paper. Keeping that in mind, I put together this simple and inexpensive gift set! It contains “Share a Coke and a Song” Coca-Cola bottles that I think describe her exciting experience in med school, a notepad and a new set of earphones she can add to her collection.
For the notepad, I purchased a simple one at my local Craft Store and neatly wrapped it using music themed scrapbook paper. To easily dress up my notepad all I needed was:
- notepad
- scrapbook paper
- scissors
- double-sided tape
- baker’s twine (optional)
- chalkboard tag (optional)
I simply cut the scrapbook paper to fit the notepad and used tape to secure it.
I added a fun chalkboard tag and of course a pencil!
For the earphones, I used a mini gift box I also purchased at the craft store and wrapped it with leftover scrapbook paper.
