Hello, friends!
Spring is almost here! Who’s looking forward to it?
We are kicking off Spring party ideas on the blog with Sweet Cotton Candy Party Ideas!
I love love love Cotton Candy parties and the idea of having my own cotton candy machine at home now! My place will smell like pink bubblegum for days!
Thanks to Nostalgia Electrics, I have this beautiful machine to make cotton candy whenever I want to! How fun is that?
We can make cotton candy using hard candies or floss sugar. We used pink bubblegum floss sugar!
Following the manual instructions, simply pour in the sugar using the mini measuring spoon (it comes with the machine).
Voila! Cotton Candy in no time! Words can’t describe the kids’ excitement…
I was inspired by the machine to create a new design and of course I had to plan a cute Cotton Candy party for the kids.
Find this watercolor cotton candy invitation design in our Etsy shop. It can be customized for any occasion! Get yours here!
Set up a simple and fun station for the kids – cupcakes, candies, cookies and fun drinks. That’s all you need to make the children happy!
I was excited to use these mason jars with daisy lids. Aren’t they the cutest? I can’t believe the last time I used them was about 4 years ago for a Strawberry styled shoot! I filled them up with strawberry flavored water. My kids love flavored water. Just don’t ask me why!
I kept the decor simple and incorporated a DIY cotton candy party garland (sharing the tutorial this week!!), balloons and a printable party banner!
Spruce up simple cupcakes with printable toppers and coordinating cupcake liners. I love using printables for my set ups. They are inexpensive and add such a fun festive touch!
My friend Monica of Alfajores.Cake.Craft made the cutest cotton candy sugar cookies to match our invitation design. I am completely in love with them!
For extra fun, I also created cotton candy toppers for simple cupcakes! I just love how they turned out!
As take-home favors, I placed gumballs in clear treat bags, attach our printable cotton candy favor tags with twine and mini clothespins.
The kids sported adorable custom shirts by Great Stitch. Brenda (owner) is amazing! I just had to sent her the graphics and she created the most adorable long-sleeved shirts. Not to mention the quality is beautiful!
My baby girl who turned 2 about two months ago is getting more comfortable in front of the camera. I had to give her a lollipop to keep her on the chair 🙂
Are you ready to recreate this fun party? We are making the printables available as free downloads to get you started! See below:

Hi, is the invitation still available to be printed? The link o your page and the one from black twin isn’t working. I would live to purchase the invite.
Unfortunately, we closed our shop last year. We still have the design. If interested please feel free to email us. We can sell the jpeg format and you can print as many copies as you need. Thank you so much!
hello! so cute! I can’t find the pennant tutorial! thanks 🙂
Unfortunartely, we didn’t post the banner tutorial at that time because I was in the process of moving. Sorry about that. Please contact via email and I will help you with the step-by-step!
