Hello, friends!
Last year, I had the honor to style parties for the fun national publication Yum Food & Fun for Kids Magazine. I simply adore this magazine! Each issue is always filled with lovely ideas you can do with your little ones – easy step-by step recipes, tutorials and of course, adorable kids parties!
For their Fall Issue, I was assigned to style a Monster Bash Party. If you are not into Halloween “scary” ideas, this fun and colorful theme might be just perfect for you!
What you will need to recreate this mini set up:
- Our FREE Monster Party printables
- A cake from your local bakery
- Our easy Monster Munchie popcorn (recipe available)
- Store-bought cupcakes
- Vanillla Pudding
- M&M’s
- Mini milk bottles
- White Gable Boxes filled with goodies
- Balloons
Additional:
Matching fondant cupcake toppers by Alfajores.Cake.Craft.
Adorable custom friendly monster chocolate covered oreos by Roni’s Sugar Creations.
To style this dessert table, I tried to use pieces I already had in my inventory – cake stands, glass jars, cups and bottles. For the backdrop, I used coordinating colorful balloons and a white frame you can use to hang mini M&M favor bags!
Don’t be afraid to order a cake from your local bakery. You’d be amazed with what they can create by following your instructions. Look how this one turned out!
Popcorn is always a hit among the kids. Make it colorful and fun to match your theme! See the recipe below to make this Monster Munchie Popcorn!
- 1 bag microwave popcorn
- 1 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips
- 1 bag of M & M’s
