Hello, friends!
So excited to share with you our 4th Annual Gingerbread Party. These easy and fun ideas are perfect to host your own Gingerbread Decorating Party!
I love planning this party every year because I get to showcase the products of some talented vendors. Make it easy and stress free this Holiday season. No need to spend hours in the kitchen baking and decorating. Use those hours to enjoy your family!
I have teamed up with LCI Paper to test their specialty papers and envelopes. I printed our Modern Plaid Gingerbread Party Collection on their Curious Skin White, Bright and Smooth 100 lbs cardstock. I was blown away by the quality. What a difference it makes when you use high quality paper. I highly recommend it. You will absolutely love the result! I also used their black metallic envelope (Stardream Onyx, square flap). Absolutely beautiful!
Check out their amazing selection of specialty papers and envelopes here and here. Find our Invitation design here.
If you love plaid and modern simple designs, this collection is for you! Recreate this party by following our ideas. Our preferred vendors ship across the country and they will be thrilled to work with you to help you host a memorable Gingerbread Party! (See vendors credits at the end of this post)
DECOR:
Incorporate a Christmas tree into your decor to add a festive touch!
I found plaid tissue papers and immediately had the idea to make the oh, so trendy tissue garland. I finished the look with lightweight glittered snowflakes.
DESSERTS:
I incorporated this delicious Gingerbread Bundt Cake from my local bakery. I simply displayed it on a cake stand and added a plaid bow for a festive touch!
Have you heard of brigadeiros? They are delicious Brazilian fudge you can’t stop eating. My friend Sabrina of Simply Brigadeiro made these Mocha Peppermint Brigadeiro in jars. They are just the perfect treat for this holiday season. Absolutely delicious! For a pretty presentation, I spruced the mini jars up with baker’s twine and mini acrylic spoons.
I love seeing my designs recreated on mini custom treats. Sugar Loaf Brigaderia designed these adorable chocolate covered Oreos around our invitation. In love with them!
FAVORS:
Send your guests home with something edible and sweet. Monica of Alfajores.Cake.Craft did an amazing job and created these delicious cookie favors. They are absolutely perfection and taste amazing!
I placed each cookie in a cute basket and added our printable favor tag! Download yours Happy Holiday Tags!
Monica also designed adorable milk bottle huggers. So so cute! My kids were in love with them!
HOT COCOA BAR:
No holiday party is complete without a hot cocoa station! I get beyond excited when Candy with a Twist prints my designs on their custom marshmallows. Sweet Nila provided mini & jumbo marshmallows and hot cocoa sticks. So in love with them! They also make the perfect holiday gift!
I used my galvanized two-tier tray to display our mugs, personalized marshmallows and hot cocoa toppings, such as peppermint and cinnamon sticks, peppermint crunch and chocolate chips.
DECORATING ACTIVITY:
Set up a decorating station for the kids. After doing the gingerbread house decorating station for 3 consecutive years, I decided to focus on the gingerbread man this time around. I purchased a giant gingerbread man cookie kit. It was a quick and easy activity!
LETTER TO SANTA:
The tradition of writing a letter to Santa is something every kid gets excited about!

The kids had so much fun and loved all the sweets. It was my baby girl’s first time in one of mommy’s photo shoots. They both wore custom PJ’s by Great Stitch!
I really hope you enjoy our ideas. Happy Holidays, friends!
