Christmas is only a few days away! I am excited to share with you today these adorable DIY Snowman S’mores Holiday Gift Idea I put together for my son’s Montessori 1st grade class! You can also download our free “You melt my heart” gift tags to make them even more fun!
His teachers allow us to place holiday treats in their cubbies so they can take the treats home after school. It’s the very first time ever I put together holiday gifts for my kid to take to school. He is so excited!
Note: I did not add chocolate bar for the kids s’mores, but of course you can if you want to. I did only one with chocolate to demonstrate.
Here’s what you will need to put these yummy and fun Snowman S’mores Holiday gifts together:
- graham crackers (I used HEB brand. Love the mini squares)
- medium marshmallows
- chocolate chips for the eyes
- Orange sparkle gel for the nose
- Black icing writer for the ‘mouth’
Instructions:
Cut marshmallow in 1/2.
Place one 1/2 marshmallow on top of a graham cracker (top side). Pop in the microwave for 9 sec and press it down gently to make it more round.
Add the chocolate chips.
Using the orange sparkle gel, add the nose.
Using the black icing writer, draw the ‘mouth’. Set aside and allow them to dry.
Now, place the other 1/2 of the marshmallow on another graham cracker square, pop in the microwave for 9 seconds and place the snowman graham cracker on top. Press gently. Let it dry.
Here’s the one with the chocolate added.
