Hi, friends!
Enjoy your summer or ready for Back to school?
My oldest is in summer school and he will be taking a couple of weeks off in August for a summer camp. I hope your kids are having a ton of fun!
My little boy has been attending a Montessori school since he was 2 years old. He is now 5 years old (Pinch me!) and he will be starting Kindergarten in September! Can I cry now? He is so very excited and can’t wait!
Today, I would like to share some “Back to School” printables Montessori style I created last year. I looked everywhere and didn’t find anything Montessori, so I figured some Montessori moms out there will enjoy and relate to this post. No worries! If your child is not in Montessori school, please check back for our “Back to school 2015” ideas and freebies! The post will go live next Friday, July 31st.
When my boy started pre-school, he absolutely loved the Practical Life Area. He still does, but he has been in love with the Reading corner and anything Geography & History. He loves to study the maps and this year, they covered all the continents. C also enjoyed learning about the Human Body. You can ask, point to any bone, this boy knows every single one of them. He also became an incredible reader and he has been reading chapter books + chapter books and he hasn’t even started Kindergarten yet. I am so proud of him and I am so happy he has a passion for reading! Looking forward to seeing all the fun things he will learn next school year!
To celebrate our love and gratitude for the Montessori method and philosophy, I created these fun printables. Please download them and have fun!
I also LOVE this quote from Maria Montessori, so I had to create a freebie!
