I am so excited to team up with Paper Eskimo on this darling ‘Adopt a Llama’ Birthday Party! Llama is going to become one of the most popular themes this year. I can sense that!
My baby girl is turning 4 on Saturday (what??) She has been obsessed about cute Llamas and so is her mama. C is an animal lover and her dream is to have her own farm one day. Too cute! I see a vet in our future! Taking her love for animals into consideration, we agreed on this precious theme to celebrate her special day!
BIRTHDAY CAKE IDEAS
Litlle C and I couldn’t agree on a cake design, so we decided to have two cakes. The llama cake reminds of a cute sheep cake. I made the ears using cardstock and tried to make them to really resemble a llama’s ears. I honestly had a hard time to make the cute face look like a llama! (Sigh!) My local bakery did all the fun piping. Drawing the eyes, noses and mouth with a black icing pen was my job. I used pink buttercream frosting for the rosy cheeks!
The second cake was designed to coordinate with Paper Eskimo’s Girly Bow Collection! I simply added long birthday candles.
Talented Vanessa of Little Pink Crown designed garlands, cupcake toppers and confetti to perfectly match the bow paper plates and cups! Aren’t they just darling?
I designed cute printable llamas and cactus toppers for extra cuteness. If you are a TTLP subscriber, you will be able to download these llama cupcake toppers! (See end of this post for download)
Kelley of Sugarly designed these precious Llama decorated cookies. In love with them!
ADOPT A LLAMA STATION
If you are thinking of throwing a Llama Party, this idea is beyond adorable! I am totally taking credits for coming up with this idea! I have seen lots of pet adoption parties but there’s no Llama Adoption Party anywhere (yet!) The kids get to adopt a cute llama and receive an adoption certificate to take home with them. It was definitely the highlight for my baby girl!
For the station sign, I used my pink letter board and made available small gift boxes for the kids to take their llamas home and treat bags for the adoption certificate and other goodies.
How adorable are these plush llamas? I simply used a small crate to display them. I can’t stand all the cuteness!
The printable llama adoption certificate is available for our subscribers to download for free. (See end of this post for download)
These mini plush llamas make the best take-home favors, don’t they? I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them.
Happy Birthday, baby girl!
We love you so much!
