I am finally sharing this super fun Garden Party I styled for Yum Food and Fun for the Kids Magazine! Spring is almost here and if you live in a cold city like me, I am pretty sure you are looking forward to the warmer temps!
When the magazine assigned me this theme, I couldn’t wait to get started. I had a blast planning this “Plant a seed and let it go” Kids Party! The kids had a blast! They got to try lots of healthy snacks and for being so good, each kids received a yummy sweet treat!
If you are planning a Garden Party, fill up mini baskets with a Garden Kit the kids can take home and have fun doing some gardening! I purchased seeds and placed them in mini burlap bags and attached a veggie tag indicating what type of seeds they were taking home.
I wanted to incorporate as many veggies as possible. The kids had fun playing with them and felt more inclined to try some healthy snacks!
I displayed veggies in mini terracota pots to make the kids more excited about eating their veggies!
Veggie + meat and cheese wraps with ranch dressing on the side
Organic Veggie puffs
Carrot and Green Juice (Recipes available in the magazine)
For being so good and for eating their veggies, the kids could enjoy some sweet treats: “Veggie” cake pops!
I used seed bags as a backdrop for my veggie station. The tags you can download here: Veggie Tags
I made a fabric garland using some leftover fabric and burlap I had at home. Super easy and inexpensive decor idea!
I hope this gets you excited about Spring! Get the kids together and throw an awesome Garden Party! It’s always a success!
xoxo,
Andressa
