Hello, friends!
I hope you had and amazing Easter! We celebrated at home with a simple yet delicious meal. My husband cooked a super yummy comforting dinner and I set up a little station for the kids. These simple ideas are not for Easter only, you can use them for a Garden Party or even a Movie Night.
It’s been a busy last couple of months for me. I still wanted to do something fun for the kids but keep the ideas as simple as possible. There were no big party decorations and baking involved, but the kids got beyond excited about everything.
Fresh flowers is always the way to go. I purchased beautiful white tulips, put them in my favorite vase and added a coordinating ribbon. I love the fact we can find these beauties in any color at any supermarket this time of the year!
I put together fun baskets for our movie time after Easter dinner. I used mini crate baskets I purchased at Target (dollar section) and filled them up with yummy treats, such as popcorn, baby carrots, milk bottles and jelly beans.
The kids also received an egg carton filled with chocolate eggs. I simply embellished the cartons with matching gingham ribbon and twine + our printable Happy Easter tags. Free download here.
Our milk bottles were decorated with twine and mini carrots made out of clay by Hands 2 Design. Don’t they look adorable?
For a healthy snack option, baby carrots were served in mini garden cups. I rinsed the carrots really well, patted them dry and placed small portions in individual cups.
I found these mini jelly bean tubes also at Target. I love the fact they were perfectly decorated for our theme. Super fun!
As party favors, I filled clear treat bags with mini carrot chocolate and finished the look with our printable Thank You tags! Free download here.
