I am sharing this fun Spring Party with you today – a Butterfly & Flowers Table I styled back in 2012 when I lived in Tampa, Florida. You can totally notice how much my style has evolved and if you compare my designs from 2 years ago to my latest, I think you will notice a big difference. My designs have become much simpler and cleaner. I have totally embraced the “less is more” concept and I can say I feel more comfortable about my style today.
I still love this Spring shoot though and there are some adorable ideas you might want to use for your event!
When I started to plan this shoot, I started by designing the printables, which have a lavender damask pattern with pops of yellow! I then started coordinating with my talented vendors and they made the most adorable sweets to match my designs.
The dessert station consisted of:
A buttercream cake I easily decorate with beautiful sugar flower by Holly’s Sweet Hobby
Lavender cake pops with adorable sugar butterflies by The Sweet Tooth Bar
Simple cupcakes adorned with large sugar flowers also by Holly’s Sweet Hobby
Spoon Pops by The Gourmet Pop. I attached them to mini dessert parfaits
Absolutely gorgeous decorated sugar also by Holly
I purchased some mini white pots and placed a cupcake in each one and topped with chocolate flower pops by Faith’s Cookies and Crafts
Some fun DIY ideas you can easily recreate:
I wrapped some yummy flowers with coordinating fabric. Guests can take them home and they make such cute decor items and favors!
I made some brigadeiros (Brazilian truffles) and dressed them up with yellow pearls and a cute sugar butterfly
Extra cupcakes embellished with printable toppers and chocolate bars were displayed in a white jewelry box I purchased at my local Craft Store
A small drink station was set up. Lemonade was displayed in a clear beverage dispenser, water bottle were neatly wrapped with super cute labels!
I hope this shoot provided some Spring Inspiration to you! This shoot was also featured on Amy Atlas and you can see professional images by Sky Stone Photography! Click here to see the full feature!
