Hello, friends!
Where are all my diet coke lovers?
So excited to share these new amazing uniquely designed ‘It’s Mine’ Diet Coke bottles with you today! When I stumbled upon these gorgeous glass bottles at my local Fred Meyer (Kroger) I knew I had to create something fun with them! And the fact they are all one of a kind got me even more excited!
I had a very hard time trying to choose the ones I loved the most. I spent an incredible amount of time staring at them and studying each design. Seriously, they are all beautiful!
The idea of creating a Ring Toss Game by upcycling these fun diet coke bottles immediately came to my mind…
Doesn’t it all look super fun? Would you like to create your own DIY Ring Toss Game? Let’s gather the supplies then!
You will need:
- 1 wooden crate *I purchased a 12.5 x 3.5 crate at my local craft store
- spray paint (color of your choice) and of course you can use regular acrylic paint
- metal rings (they can be found at any craft store)
- cords (color of your choice)
- hot glue
- scissors
- ‘It’s Mine’ Diet Coke Bottles (empty!)
***********
Follow the step-by-step tutorial below:
- Gather your supplies.
- Spray paint your wooden crate by following the instructions on the back of the spray bottle Note: Remember to place old newspaper underneath the crate to stop you from splattering paint over the floor.
- Let it dry completely.
- While the crate is still drying, grab your metals rings
- Start wrapping your rings using the cord of your preference. Note: I wrapped two rings together.
- Cut and glue the ends.
- Make sure both ends are secured.
- Voila! Rings ready for some real fun!
- Arrange the bottles in the crate and let the game begin!
My family had a blast playing outdoors. My husband and our son had too much fun playing The Ring Toss Game. They are both very competitive, so this game was a huge hit between those two!
The days are starting to get really nice (and sunny!!) – 40 to 45 degrees every day. We can’t complain! During the winter, we can go days with no sunshine! Needless to say, these bottles really got this family excited about Spring and Summer gatherings and celebrations. The bold colors just make me happy! How about all the fun things you can do with them? As a party stylist, I can not only serve the beverage to my special guests, but also use them as party/styled shoot props. The possibilities are endless!
I also purchased the “It’s Mine” Diet Coke mini cans! The party girl in me couldn’t pass them! Aren’t they super cool?
Adult coloring books have been my (and many others) newest obsession, I decided to use the ‘It’s Mine’ Diet Coke mini cans as pencil holders and create my own Coloring Station!
I hope you enjoyed our ideas using the “It’s Mine” glass bottles and mini cans. Grab yours today at your local Fred Meyer (Kroger) and have fun creating your very own projects! Click here to learn more about Diet Coke’s new launch!
You can find the mini cans in the beverage aisle. The glass bottles have a special spot at my local Fred Meyer by the frozen meal section. Don’t wait too long! These bottles will be available for a limited time!

Happy Creating, friends!
Oh! I looove what you did with these! I just picked up four of these bottles and I just might end up doing this with mine as well! Also I want that coloring book! Love how you re-purposed the cans as well, what fun!
Thank you so much, Nicole! Yes, please do! The kids will love the Ring Toss Game! I will keep it outside until end of summer! I will make more rings though. They keep fighting over them. My little girl wants to hold them all hehe Thank you so much for stopping by! Andressa
Ok. But how do you remove the top of the can so that you have a wide opening?
I used a can opener. It works great! 🙂
Love this idea for the ring toss! I did a chandelier with mine! The pencil holders are super cute too though. Awesome job!
That sounds like fun, Emily! Thank you so much for your visit and sweet comment! 🙂
