Hello, friends!
I am so excited to share this super fun Emoji Birthday Party I styled in partnership with Black Twine featuring the awesome Emoji balloons by Northstar Balloons! When Black Twine assigned me this theme, they had in mind to publish it just in time to celebrate the release of The Emoji Movie, which is coming to the theaters on July 28th! So so fun!
If you haven’t heard about Black Twine, I would like to invite you to explore their amazing website! Black Twine is a platform for the modern host, translating inspiration into reality through step-by-step #nosweat party blueprints based on the latest party concepts. I feel really honored to be part of their Stylist Circle! I truly believe the party community needed something fresh and new. Black Twine offers just that!

When I started planning this Emoji Birthday Party, I knew I wanted to incorporate another fun color in addition to the usual black and yellow. The party supplies I found at Hobby Lobby sealed the deal. I absolutely loved working with the turquoise blue!
For each table setting, I added a paint-your-own Emoji cookie neatly packaged in clear cellophane bag complete with a set of paint brushes & water cup. It’s a quick & easy activity the kids absolutely love! They can have their cookie and eat it too!
ACTIVITY 1: Paint your own Emoji Cookie
Activity 2: Emoji Placemat
It comes with games to play including a word search of internet lingo acronyms and a section to draw your own Emoji faces! Too much fun!
Dessert Station
The dessert station featured an ombre buttercream cake, vanilla cupcakes, emoji candy kabobs and custom emoji cookies.
I couldn’t forget the ever so popular Poop Emoji cupcakes. You can frost the cupcakes and let the kids help (if old enough) by adding the eyes and mouth.
Take-home favors
Send the little guests home with fun gable boxes filled with Emoji inspired goodies!
TIP: Using the Emoji gift wrap, just cut a strip and adhere to the gable box using tape.
I hope you enjoyed this Emoji Birthday Party as much as I did putting it all together!
Don’t forget to visit Black Twine to see the Emoji Party Blueprint for the step-by-step on how you can recreate the same look! They are sharing the poop emoji cupcake tutorial and link to every party supply/decor used for this birthday party to make planning a breeze.
